Vaso - Vagal

I have suffered with this problem for about 10 years now. I did the tilt table test a few times and passed out from those. I will never take that miserable test again. I was put on a beta blocker (100 mg.) a day for all those years. I finally took myself off of it a year ago. I don't get as many episodes as I used to. I would usually wake up in the middle of the night either sick to my stomach or bad cramps. Sometimes didn't even make it to the bathroom before I would pass out. It's very scary how you feel before you do. I get so weak I can't even whisper. My heart drops so low that I can't even feel it beating and I get all sweaty and pale. I was just reading that salt is suppose to help with this problem and I think that it's possible because, I increased my salt intake about 4 yrs. ago and have only had a few episodes since then. I was getting them all the time before that. I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who suffers with this weird illness. Although I feel sorry for each of you that do.
