I too am very nervous about our 9 ( almost 10 ) year old and her diagnose of Vaso-vagal. I am worried about when she starts her monthly cycle in particular. We have had sucess with the " Bio- Rythum" control, where by either Alexa or I use our voices to aid her in gageing the " Blackness " as she calls it and keeping it below her knee level. We use breathing technics, combined with constant coaching, however if the " blackness " ever passes her knee's then she must sucumb and pass out. This last spell was very bad, and very different from the others , in that there was NO warning signs and she experienced a fist clenching, teeth clenching almost seizure. What brought it on was not tohe normal pain anticipation, but rather a T.V. show?
