I have gone throw the same thing I am only 21 and have been having these Vasovagal Attacks for year and have avoided finding out what it was thinking I was young and it would go away. Till a few year ago itfelt so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. Be family physican said it was nothing and ignored me. Then it happened twice in six months last year and the second time I was on the ski hill and hopped it would stop for I didn't want to ruin everyones day by going in so I skied a run till not being able to think for my heart was racing ssooo fast and my arms and legs were tingling almost numb and my sight was blury. My boyfriend took me right into the doc. on the ski hill, Even he notice right away how fast my heart was racing and sent me to the hospital. The first nurse couldn't believe how low my bp was but then it went back after about 15 minutes. They poked and proded at me and said I have a slight heart mermer and said I was healthy and sent me on my way. When my family doc. got the blood test from the hospital it read Vasovagal Attack. I was the happyest moment finaly knowing what was wrong and that it wasn't just me. My family had gotten mad at me saying it's all in your head, exspecaly my mother. Now I know what it is and can finaly talk about it. It is the scarest thing that can happen to a person I thought I was dying at 20 years old. But most of all I fear every moment wondering when it will happen next. Reading about another womans experience made me no I am not the only one and there is someone who doesn't think I am crazy. Hope this help others feel better as much as her story helped me.
