Multiple Sclerosis/Laughing spells

My husband has been having laughing spells that turn into coughing spells. During the coughing he seems to choke and his eyes roll back in his head his hands draw up tight, he grits his teethand passes out. That started almost 2 years ago. Then he started having seizures (I thought). He would describe nausea, headache, dizziness, slow speech, he then has a staring spell, ice cold sweat, and finally he wants to sleep the rest of the day. Our cardiologist thinks he is experiencing vaso-vagal response. Does anyone know anyone with MS that experiences this also. Please email me at njsmith@beanstalk.net.
