From the time I was seventeen I passed out. A slight dizzy feeling or light headedness was all I had to warn me. The next moment I lay on the floor. The doctors opinions ranged from telling my parents to be more severe on me, to giving me more attention, to putting me in a phyciatric ward for three months. The faints came and went, sometimes I would not hit the floor but when I did I recovered within a second or two. I finally ended up at a cardiologist who diagnosed the problem in one visit and sent me for a 'tilt table test'. The sad part of the story is my nephew has been fainting and my sister is being hard on him so he won't turn out like I did...
