I, too, have started having seizures along with my fainting episodes. The most recent occurred two weeks ago when I was sick from food poisoning. I passed out on the bathroom floor and when I came to the first sensation I was aware of was the taste of blood in my mouth. I knew I had had a seizure and had bitten my tongue. The time before that, about a year ago, I had to have some blood tests (unrelated to V-V). I told the nurse I might pass out so she had me lying down. About the time she was almost finished with the second vile I said "I'm going to pass out." When I came to people were all standing over me. They said I'd had a small seizure and had called an ambulance. I was so hot I was sure I was going to pass out again just from being hot. They took me to the emergency room and I passed out again. They did lots of tests - EEG, EKG, etc. - all negative. They finally exhausted their battery of tests and released me. Now, after much research on my own I'm realizing this is V-V. All my life I have passed out from disecting frogs in science class, standing in line at K-Mart check out, having blood drawn, being too hot in a restaurant, having the flu, drinking too much coffee along with eating sweets .... Now I'm concerned about these siezures and doing damage to myself when I'm unconscious.
