vago-depressed syncope

Comments

I was diagnosed at 14 with vaso-vagal syncope, and battled it for a few years with no treatment because my doctors were not even sure that is what it was. It stopped and recently at 21 years of age it has started again and i have now been diagnosed with vagal-depressed syncope. This is where the nervouse system is immature and can't catch up with my heart and blood pressure. I can't find any literature on this and would like to find some if anyone would like to help. This is very hard to live with but I am now on Xanex and celexa, to help with the attacks. I was told that you have to wait until you grow out of this, it is uncommon and fould in young women who are underweight and pettite. So if you are, you may need to be re-diagnosed
