My fiance a 67 year old male had an episode night before last. We were talking before bed about our stressful week running the company. He got out of bed saying he didn't feel well and then called me into the bedroom saying he really felt bad. I turned on the light and he was as white as the wall. He was sweating profusely and his skin was cold when I felt his forehead and arms. He started jerking like he was having a cesure for about 3 to 5 seconds, I was looking straight into his face calling his name but he was not coherent he then leaned up against me I thought he had passed out and I leaned him back and called his name and he said I can wipe myself. He wasn't aware of what had just happened. I called 911 and got him into some shorts and back into bed by the time they arrived about 5 minutes they took his blood pressure and said it was fine and his pulse. We went to the hospital had a cat scan, ekg, blood work. Everything came out normal and the doctor said it could be vaso vagal, so did the nurse. The things I am reading about vaso vagal have not mentioned any of the things he experienced. Can you tell me if you this sounds like the vaso vagal condition? We have a follow up appointment day after tomorrow with his physician. Would like to hear what you think of this episode. Thank you
