Hi, My 10 yea old son has had this since age three. It is almost always triggered by sight-of-blood or reading about anything medical, etc. He was tested & diagnosed by a neurologist who just said "learn to cope". My son is also a highly gifted child, and some dr.s have suggested that highly gifted kids are very sensitive and take things so seriously. Anyway, I would really love to find out if there is anything that can be done to help because my son's fear of fainting sometimes really gets in the way of having a normal childhood. Please respond if you can point me in the right direction for help.
