VVS and menstrual period

Have been having "episodes" for 6 months. I am 30 years old and these "episodes" only happen about 5 days before the start of my menstrual cycle. They last until it starts and then they stop until the next month. I know when an "episode" is going to happen before it starts. When it happens I feel like I am asleep but my eyes are open. I have never actually fainted but I have fallen down. I can't talk and my husband said I get this blank look on my face. After it is over I feel very nauseous and I am very confused about the day, time, and where I am. I also am very tired. Some days it only happens a few times and other days it happens so many times I lose count. Does this sound like VVS? I am currently going through all the tests to figure out what is wrong with me. Have had an MRI which is fine and an EEG which is also fine. My last question is this- Does anyone know if there is a link between orthostatic hypotension and VVS?
