fainting episode

I'm 15 years old and I have fainted 4 times in my life. They never a real reason for why it happened. This past year I fainted during my biology class just sitting at my desk. After getting a blood test and an EKG nothing seemed out of the ordinary so my doctor said it was probobly vaso-vagal syndrome but she never tested me. She also told me not to stand stiff and to shift my weight constantly. Is this really going to help me? Also is the test neccessary to know if you have this? And I read in someone elses post that there might be a medicine to cure this. Is this true? thanks for the help!
