vaso-vagal syndrome?

i am a 50 year old female,who for many years have has feelings,simular to that of an elevater stopping suddenly,or like all the blood rushing downward from my head. i have pain in the back of my head,dull in nature and also heart palpates . recently,breathing difficulty is present. i have only passed out once in 16 years. this problem has become worse in the past 4 years. have been hospitalized aue to the fact doctors thought a heart problem. no such problem found and when asked to describe symptoms,i always tell them it is in my head. it feels like everything shuts down for a few seconds. i am ignored. or they look at me puzzeled. i am at whit's end in trying to get someone to listen. i am diabetic for 4 years now and they attribute many things to this.
