MY DAUGHTER WAS AT THE DERMATOLOGIST'S OFFICE JUST A FEW DAYS AGO TO HAVE A BENIGN GROWTH REMOVED FROM HER LEG AND SHE EXPERIENCED THE SAME SYMPTOMS THAT YOU DESCRIBED. SHE NEEDED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM, THEN FELT NAUSEATED AND SOON WAS UNCONSCIOUS WAKING UP SO VERY HOT AND CONFUSED. THE DOCTORS DENY THAT LIDOCAINE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ATTACK. MY CONCERN IS FOR THE CONTINUED FEELINGS OF LIGHT-HEADEDNESS AND NAUSEA THAT OCCURRED THE FOLLOWING 2 DAYS AFTER THE PROCEDURE. THE PRIMARY DOCTOR SAID THAT THE LIDOCAINED CAN ONLY BE TOXIC IF INJECTED DIRECTLY INTO AN ARTERY. IT IS JUST TOO COINCIDENTAL TO NOT BE RELATED. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR STORY. I
