I get it after eating or standing. No cramps, just sweats amnd my lips go blue. Tums helps taking before a meal or during or after th symtoms start. I live in fear of going out to dinner. It's been diagnosed as vasodepressor syncope. Now I'm learning from this web site that the vagal nerve efffects the digestive system and that can put pressure on the nerve to cause an onset. Makes sense to me,but why haven't doctors been able to find something to keep that pressure off the nerve?
Went to a neurologist, found duh! But, if what I am finding is true, why can't they follow that nerve to find where the pressure is that causes VV?
