I am a 16 yr old girl who has just been diagnosed with vv after suffering from attacks for the last three years. The attacks started just after I was hit by a car (no serious injury - just ongoing foot problem) Could my accident have triggered this??

Has anyone had a link between painkillers and vv ( I've been on codeine since then as well) these 2 things are the only things that changed around the time I started VV symptoms

I have had 5 or 6 severe attacks when I have passed out but I feel lightheaded late morning everyday.

The main thing i am worried about is that my 17 birthday is approaching and I want driving lessons. Will VV affect my ability to drive? will they let me?

Any comments and answers would be appreciated either to the forum or to me diret at ju@jwilkinson98.freeserve.co.uk

I would also appreciate any other teenage sufferers getting in contact to discuss!!!
