my daughter has been diagniosed with vaso-vago syncope also. she is 18 . this time when she passed out she did hurt herself. she hit her head and fractured her eye socket bone,along with a severe concussion and a very black eye. need less to say her family doctor was not to concerned ,until this happened.she was taken by ambulance to the hospital where we spent 24 hours watching and waiting to see if surgery would be needed for a epidurial hematoma behind the fractured eyesocket bone. we are very thankful she did not have to have surgery.we went through many tests to find out the cause of her passing out.after the results of the tests she was showed how to help herself when she feels this coming on which many times she does not.this was a very scary thing for us to go through
