I have been diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope for the last 4/5 years. Ultimately I have had to have a pacemaker as my heart was stopping everytime I was passing out. Although i have not passed out unconcious since my pacemaker I have still been very poorly. I have terrible heart palpitations, sick feeling, hot burning up flushes, dizzy turns and loose my eyesight and hearing when having an episode.

I have recently visited a specialist in London for a second opinion who has confirmed they have done everything they can do and also informed me I also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which explains why I am so tired all the while.

It is very conforting to know other people are in the same position as all I have been told is that this is a very rare illness and you do feel very alone.

Let's hope they find a magic cure for us all one day.

From a frustrated patient in England!!
