vaso-vagal & slurred speech cont'd

It took about 35 seconds for me to regain my speech, and when I did i told my husband to call 911 because I think I'm having a stroke. I was admitted with the diagnosis of TIA, however none of the doctors can tell me exactly what happened.
My G.P. feels it was Vaso-Vagal caused by getting up too fast..anyone out there ever hear of this, or have Vaso- vagal and slurred speech?
