Florinef is used to treat Hypotension..... It will keep your B/P from falling........ It will also prevent excesive fluid loss..... This drug and many others have been used to treat VVS......... Beta blockers such as Toprolol, metoprolol, And a more powerful drug as Norpace.... Also in the B/P drugs and fluid drugs are florinef, Midodrine, also used are Zoloft , prozac ect..... these are used because they have been found to be beificial to prevent blood pooling in the extremities.....also salt tablets are used........ VVS is very difficult to treat not everyone responds to the same drugs....Some require pacemakers to excelerate the heart.....When an episode occurs first all your vitals rise to compensate THEN they fall dramaticly....In some people the heart actualy stops(asytole)...... www.ndrf.org has much info and a forum about VVS.
