I WAS DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY WHEN I HAD THIS FEELING OF BLACKING OUT AND I REALLY FELT THAT I WAS GOING TO DIE AND NEEDED TO LIE DOWN QUICKLY AND HAD DIFFICULTY BREATHING. I WAS HOSPITALISED, HAD SOME TESTS DONE BUT THE DOCTORS FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH ME. TESTS LIKE BLOOD COUNT, BLOOD PRESSURE, CT SCAN, EEG ETC NOTHING IS THE MATTER. I BLACKED OUT AGAIN ON SUNDAY AND HAD THE STRANGE FEELING AGAIN THE FOLLOWING DAY. AGAIN I WAS HOSPITALISED UNTIL A SENIOR CONSULTANT AT THE HOSPITAL INDICATED THAT I MAY BE SUFFERING FROM VASO VAGAL SYNCOPE BUT WOULD NOT CONFIRM IT UNTIL MORE TESTS ARE BEING DONE. I GOT HOME AND MY HUSBAND GOT TO THE INTERNET AND FOUND THIS WEBSITE AND I FINALLY FOUND THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE GOING THRU THE SAME THING I AM GOING THROUGH AND FOUND RELIEF THAT I WAS NOT JUST IMAGINING THIS WHOLE EPISODE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD NOT TO DRIVE OR SWIM ALONE.
