Hi Phyllis, I had almost exactly the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. Got up to go to the bathroom and felt fine until I sat down. Got dizzy, nauseous, and felt like I was going to pass out so I tried to make it out to the couch when I heard myself hit the ground. I've had CT scans and every blood test imagineable. My blood sugar is fine and everything else came back negative. My blood pressure however is really low and my pulse is low which is strange considering the stress I've been under lately. Raising two small children on my own and dealing with other financial stresses I would have thought that My blood pressure would be higher. This also happened about 3 days before the onset of my menstrual cycle. My dr. also told me to drink a lot of water and eat as much salt as I wanted to. I had never heard of the Vegas nerve before so am anxious to hear more about it. Thank you for sharing your story!
