Saw somebody post something to this effect... so I tried it.
I used to drink about 6 cans of diet soda per day. I would get near syncope after almost every time I had to relieve myself.
Now, I haven't had a can of soda in a week, and I have only felt the condition after one especially strenious "relief".
Believe me it was hard to kick the habbit after about 15 years of that level of consumption, but I am sure my body is better off because of it, and I know that it will make me healthier overall.
Like the other posts said, I switched to Gatorade, and then to juice/water.
