At the age of 19years old I started to have feinting episodes. These started to occur more regularly. A tilt-test showed that I had Vasovegal Syndrome. When I was 21 I had a heart-pacemaker fitted. Since this date I have had no further attacks.

I have never had fully explained what Vasovegal Syndrome is - I would be interested if anyone could explain this to me further. Is the condition triggered by certain foods. I do have a caffeine allergy. Are there any other conditions associated with vasovegal syndrome?

I would be very interested in any further information.
