Bonnie: Unfortunately, your story sounds very familiar to me. There's no greater feeling than that cold tile floor in the middle of an attack. I understand when you say you're just glad to be alive after it's over. These attacks can be really violent. I've had episodes for 15 years, and I've never found any one identical factor every time; diet, stress level, weight, sleep habits, blood pressure, sugar level...all have been different over the years. One Dr. explained it as simply a "mis-fire" in the brain. I guess that's as good an explanation as any other until we find a cause. God Bless! Lorraine
