Wendy, I came upon your message when I punched in vaso vagal and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, because I had previously seen Vaso mentioned in connection with CFS. I have Fibromyalgia. Recently I researched Vaso Vagal Syncope, which I had never heard of before because my mother heard it on her scanner. To my surprise I found the symptoms to be ones I had been suffering from since I was 5 years old! I had always passed my "fainting spells" off as just that, and associated them with low blood sugar and as a reaction to extreme pain. During research, as I said, I found a connection to CFS, which is also connected to Fibromyalgia. Don't discount the possibilty that you may have both, if not all of these problems. Their is also Myofascial Pain Disorder that goes along with FMS and CFS. You need to research these things and take any appropriate information to your doctors. I find that I have many symptoms that are exactly the same or similar to yours. I wish I had discovered the Vasal problem earlier, but I'm glad that I know it now, because things are getting worse. I now have difficulty having blood drawn, or even thinking about that type of thing, because sometimes just the thought makes me want to faint! I'm not a wimp, I've been strong all of my life (I'm 42) for myself and the people around me. I too and in the middle of many personal and financial stressful situations, and I feel that the stress definitely makes the problems worse. Please research these other disorders and see if you have the symptoms. Don't discount them because you may need treated for more than one problem. Good luck.
