My son has had trouble with what we found out to be a Hyper Sensitive Vagal nerve. He was sick and would (what I call blast his diaper.) A few min. later he was very , very blue and mottled very badly. He ended up in the hospital. It has been a night mear finding out what was wrong with him. Because once he was in the hospital he was getting better and no longer blasted his diaper. So he didn't turn blue or mottle. All the times after that when it happened he would be back to him self in 15 to 20 min. So by the time he got to the Doctors office everthing would appear fine. Until the next time. He is now 7 years old and it seems something is happening again. But he is no longer sick it is just happening. Now like I said this started when he was a baby, his heart rate would drop dangerously low, because of presure put on his Vagal nerve. All the adult info, does not apply to him ,it goes much futher than that. Has anyone ever delt with this, and what did you do. He is going back to a Ped.Heart Doc. Any informatation may be helpful to us if you have some to give. Thank You
