Dave,

Sorry to hear about your wifes problem. Is a heart card the same as an Event Monitor? Never heard the term Heart card. An Event Monitor is a small pocket size recorder of ECG's. When you have an episode you push a button and it captures what happens to your Heart during an Episode......Does that sound similar to the heart card? If so, its a great diagnostic tool. You wear it for 30 days. A cardiologist is your best bet for diagnosing your wifes condition. Most people who have simialar conditions as your wife, usually display no abnormalities on EKG's, ECG's etc., unless it is during an episode.

Yes, the tilt table test is a good test also.

There is something called the "poor Mans Tilt table test". You take the BP laying, then sitting, and standing up.

Put a search in on the internet to find out more info. on the poor mans TTT.

Hope this helps a little.

Come back and let us know how you and your wife are doing
