Fran: I do know how you feel. I've never felt any of the medical professionals (or anyone else for that matter) understands what these attacks are like. They can be incredibly severe, and can make you think you're dying. Even my husband, who has witnessed most of mine, gets that "glassy-eyed" look when I mention my symptoms, etc. -- unless I'm in the middle of an attack, and then he's in a total panic! I'm thankful for this forum, so I can hear from others who know EXACTLY how I feel, and don't think I'm a nut case or a hypochondriac. Others have found help within the medical profession, so I guess we shouldn't totally give up. I'm not very symptomatic 99% of the time, so I just deal with symptoms as they come. Again, I wish you the best.
