I've had a few episodes during the day, too. Unfortunately, I've not had any real help from doctors. Over the years I've tried to describe these episodes to a few, but not one was really interested. The best advise I got was "don't get up if you feel dizzy". One dr. tried to convince me I have vertigo, and prescribed pills for when the dizziness starts. They don't understand the quickness and severity of these things! Once it starts I'm completely incapacitated until it's over! The symptoms are nothing like vertigo! I gave up on medical help...I just stay as calm as possible and don't get up when I get that first "funny" feeling. Finding out this has a name helped alot (ER dr. told me after I busted myself up fainting). It also helps to know that each episode willl pass and can't kill me. I hope you have better luck with your doctors, and I wish you all the best.
