Like you I have had similar experiences for 20 years. I have only now found out that I am not epileptic, have menieres disease, migraine and suffer from Atrial Fibrilation. In between my siezures which come with a shock or lying on my back I can suffer for a week with extreme dizziness, so much so that I walk into walls and things. My heart races for periods everyday (upto 200 a minute) even though I take beta blockers. I have found that my symptoms are worse during my monthly cycle but I crave lots of water and salty food, now I know why. Quite often I feel like my brain has been switched off like a tv set for a split second, sometimes I have flashing lights and humming in my head.

I had never heard of v v before and am sure that my Dr thought I was a hypocondriac - hence why' I have so many diseases'. I always thought that my symptoms were contected but the Dr said that there was no possible corellation between them. I felt so relieved to find a name for what I have - you would have thought I found a cure.
