Twenty years ago after the birth of my first son I was diagnosed with epilepsy. 10 years ago (after suffering at least ten years from a racing unsteady heart beat and 'panic attacks')I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. There is no underlying cause for either of these electrical disturbances. I have a healthy heart and my 'fits' are few and far between. My fits are set off with a scare eg. low flying aircraft or by sleeping lying on my back. I always suspected that my two medical complaints were one and the same. I also have episodes where I get very weak and my legs turn to jelly and I sweat profusely. I may be jumping the gun but after reading many of the questions previously posted I feel at last that I have found out what is causing my problems. Does anybody else have similar experiences to me?
