I have had 2 episodes- one from alcohol and one from pain after the meds wore off from a minor removal of a sist in my arm. Both times I passed out-unexpectantly and the 2nd tiem I had to be taken to the hospital on a stretcher as I couldn't get up or turnover. They told me at the hospital that the only way to come out of that was with glycose in an IV. It was very scary for me and my husband. I was on the floor for 1 hour-back and forth with the doctor. I am now very affraid of anything that causes pain to my body.
