Doctors generaly send you to an EP, an electrophysiologist(cardiologist).They run the typical tests from a tilt table, event monitor, an EP study(heart cath with electrical stimuli to certain areas of the heart). Blood work and occasionally an EEG. and an Echocardiogram. They try first the diet approach, adding salt and water to your diet. Then they try meds , like beta blockers and midodrine, flourinef.
