Wow! I think I'm going to spend the rest of the week piecing together all the incidents I've had over my life and realizing that they are all aspects of VV. But mostly, in the past year, I've been awoken about 1 hour after I go to sleep, with nauseau or cramps. I go to the bathroom where the pain increases with or before a BM/diahrea. In the last two I realized I had to lie down and then fainted and came to quickly. I think I had some type of stiffening (seizure) because as I came to, my toes were cramped or I was biting my tounge. I definitely have irritable bowel syndrome which has been helped by hyosciame and pamalor. I've also had vv being awake during surgical procedures. OH that's why I can't donate blood. It's a relief to find out that there's a cause, even if there's no cure. Good medical web info would be appreciated or good drs. in NY. Thanks.
