my son was diagnosed at age 18 after I had to throw a fit to find out what was wrong. At age 6 he passed out for the first time in the 6th grade he had a petti mal seizure and he had kept on having problems with the spells. Finally a neurologist put a holter on him and we found out he had a 2 nd degree block. That did not stop the fainting spells. We had found over time that Gatorade did help him somewhat. Finally a Doctor sent him to a specialist in LA. Ca. and he did the 2nd level tilt test and they found out he had this.We have been traveling to LA at least twice a year and he has been on many different medications and none has seemed to help. Now he has been to a therapist because they said it was all in his head, the therapist said there is nothing wrong with you except you are frustrated since nothing is being done. Back to the doctors. Now they have him on nuerontin, torodol, and a new one to raise his blood pressure, now he is having his bad chest pains again. What to do or where to go I do not know anymore does anyone else. He is going to be 21 next month and still cannot hold down a job because sometimes the spells last for hours and now no one wants to hire him!!
