Hi Mary - the docs were checking the adrenal function because I guess if the adrenals are hyp or hyper they can cause some of the same symptoms. Just got the tests back yesterday and all adrenal function is normal. The tilt table test showed for no reason I have a sudden drop in b/p which is probably producing the dizziness and the tachycardia. I don't actually pass out (only once when i had the flu), I am dizzy, off balance, lightheaded, foggy. The beta blocker seems to be keeping the heart rate 90-140. Symptoms can be worse with postition change but that's not always the case. It seems symptoms become worsewith indigestion or GI symptoms. I really don't know what's next - I have a call into my doc. but I think he may be stumped. Thanks for all your input!
