vaso vagal in young children nad many questions...please help!

I have just learnt that a friend of mine is having fainting episodes. These are not frequent, but they seem to happen under stress, pain, etc, which makes me believe that it is vaso vagal syndrome. She can go for years without having a fainiting episode. So question #1) would drug treatment be a realistic option for her? She also is adopted and just learned that she was given seizure medication to the adoptive parents that threw it away. Question #2) can infants have this vaso vagal syndrome as well? If she had a seizure disorder as an infant, would this predispose you to having vaso vagal syndrome? Plase help! She does not have a computer yet where she can look up things and I am trying to help.
