Hello beeve, Many of us who have fainting etc., were initially diagnosed with seizure disorder/epilepsy. I myself was one of them. There are some interesting articles written about this on the website:www.naspe.org Its the north america society of pacing and electrophysiology(NASPE). You are very smart, not to be convinced that you are not having seizures....go with you gut feelings. The tile of the article on that site is:many patients wrongly diagnosed with epilipsy: may have cardiovascular condtion. Check it out and see what you think. come back to this site and let me know what you think and if you have other questions

the best to you

This web site is not a substitute for a thorough medical evaluation and diagnosis of your vaso-vagal type symptoms.  Medical treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It is for you and your physician to rule out more serious illnesses; Please don't use this online forum as an alternative to getting responsible medical attention and being under the care of a physician for the duration of any unknown, suspected or dangerous vaso-vagal syndrome symptoms.
