I am a student and started hospital rounds for the first time last week. While standing in one of the rooms, I began to get very hot and actually started to sweat. I remember I kept yawning and felt extremely light-headed. I felt like I could have fallen over any second. Luckily, I was able to leave the room. When I ssat down I was very cold instead of hot. After work, I took my temperature and it was only 96.5 degrees. Unlike most of these postings, I was not at all anxious, there was no blood or gore in the room. The doctor I worked with said it was probably a vaso-vagal response. I guess what I want to know is...has anyone else just had this happen spontaneously-- I mean, without any pain being inflicted on them or something visually discomforting?
