Has anyone been told their VV episodes were possibly panic attacks? A while back I was looking up "fainting" on the net, and one site I was directed to was for panic attack disorder. I found that some people with PAD have many of the same symptoms (nausea, sweating, dizziness, diarrhea) as those with VVS, tho I never found anyone who fainted during/after a panic attack. I think some are diagnosed with PAD only because during an episode they are terrified they're going to die. Well, VV attacks are terrifying, and during a few of mine I did think I was going to die! One of the doctors I've seen said it could be either one, but didn't seem too interested - he just wanted to give me anti-anxiety medication. That patronizing attitude is so frustrating! Anyone else run into that regularly?
