I had severe endometriosis and would faint every month for years during my period. They even kept a gurney with my name on it where I worked, which happened to be a hospital. Then I got a hysterectomy and thot it would be over.NOT. I have had 3 very bad spells where I blacked out and I was alone at home and I just knew I was going to die. I felt sooo sick, then like it came to a crechendo, and finally I'd pass out, broken out in a cold sweat. But these times I lost bladder control. I went to a urologist who sent me to a neurologist who did eeg for seizures(my dad is epileptic), but it was negative for seizures. He diagnosed me as having neurally mediated vaso-vegas Syndrome. I have also fainted on dates, ended up on the floor of the ladies room, convinced my date had put something in my drink! I have had to pull off the road as I felt one coming on and lie the seat back until it passed. I have also been dx with FMS.
