darkinhere, that is EXACTLY what happens to me. it has happened twice since june 1999, and i went for an eeg yesterday to see what's going on. well, during the eeg they made me do a 'deep breathing' excercise for 3 minutes - rapid deep breaths. i just about managed it, and then the black-out/go stiff/rolleyes thing happened again. i came round not having the faintest (scuse the pun) idea where i was. i went home, and then the hospital called me back in and said that during the black-out my heart had stopped. they did lots more ecgs, etc, on me, and now they want me tohave the TTT, which i'm really scared about. have you had the tilt table test? have you been diagnosed as definitely having v-v syncope? please email me on naughtysunbeam@hotmail.com - i would really like to talk to you!
