I was driving home from a business trip yesterday afternoon and experienced two terrible stomach cramps. Then I started getting very nauseous clammy, dizzy, sweating profusely, so I pulled over. The next thing I know, I wake up and my car is in park with the air conditioner blasting but still running and I have eliminated both my bowels and bladder.

My doctor told me 4 years ago after I swallowed something wrong and passed out that that was a vaso-vagal episode. I think this one was way worse, and I was very frightened that I could have passed out while driving.I am going to folow up with keeping my fluids up, but I am really concerned about what brought this on. I was just driving for about an hour and a half.

My husband had a similiar occurence waking up in the middle of the night and it was triggered by urinating without first letting his blood flow get to his head? I just think it is amazing that so many people experience this!
