I was diagnosed with vaso vagul syncope after several episodes over a couple of months. Initially I was treated with medication but that did not stop the problem. Finally I was told that I needed a pace maker in conjunction with the medication. It has been three years now and I have not had an episode since. I have gotten used to the pacemaker and it is almost like it doesn't exist.
