Two nights ago my daughter was standing here eating a french-fry and talking to me when she had a choking sensation - and then passed out. She had about 2 seconds warning (said she was having a migraine - because her sight went black) and then stiffened up like a board & fell over. Her eyes remained open the whole time. I picked her up (she's 12) and was carring her to the couch when she woke up - out no more than 15 seconds. At the ER the Dr. says its Vaso-Vagal. From reading some of the posts here it seems that VV is recurring and involves "going limp" with at least a minute's warning. Is the ER Dr. wrong or right?
