I am a 46 year old female. Three years ago I started having vaso-vagal respones about one week before my period. After 5 months of these episodes I had a stroke and continued to have vaso-vagal responses, but with no regularity. I had open heart surgery one year after the stroke for a patent ductus. For over two years I had not had any more episodes until last week it started again.
