Hi, Wendy. Thanks for your comment-no one responded to my post for some time so I just checked in today. The reason I checked in is because I had an episode on the highway with my 3 1/2 year old in the back seat - I didn't pass out, but had all the symptoms leading up to it-palpitations, sweating, shaking, dizziness, confusion, stomach cramps. Fortunately, a police officer was on the opposite side of the exit ramp and I was able to get him to keep an eye on me while I recovered and waited for my husband to come retrieve our child, so I could be assured he was safe. This really is a difficult disorder.
