Thank you for your encouragement-no one replied to my post for a very long time-I just happened to check today because I had an episode on the highway (didn't pass out but had all the symptoms of it coming on) and had to pull over - fortunately a police officer was there to assist while I waited for my husband to come get me.

I was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope about six months after I was told I had mitralvalve regurgitation. All my symptoms began after a break up with a long term boyfriend of 9 years. I did however pass out 2 times before I ever knew about this when I was in college drinking, of course. I feel these symptoms are becoming more annoying as each day passes. I have never passed out since, but I often have dizzy spells and light-headedness. Sometimes when I am in a public place and I get these spells, I then get anxiety because I worry that I will pass out. I would love to go back to my life when I never had to worry about this or feel any symptoms. I feel no one else around me really understands even though they care. Thank you.
