I have a hunch that it is not the anesthetic. Let me guess....was the shot in your left arm? I have had two experiences in the past 6 months where I have fainted after reaching for something while sitting and hurting my left shoulder severely. Suddenly I felt VERY nausous, felt the need to have a bowel movement, and promptyly passed out. First time on an airplane. Woke up and made it (barely) to the plane bathroom and passed out again. Unfortunately didn't get the door locked and even more unfortunately proceeded to empty my bladder everywhere. Lovely. Happened again on Friday at a restaurant. John caught my face just as it nearly hit the bar. Much less warning this time.

Anyone else think it's related to pain in the left shoulder?
