I was in the 12th hour of a water deprivation test for d iabetes insipidus at the local ACU when the first of two responses occured, the second lasted about an hour, till they put a pint of fluid into me by IV. This is probably my 15th or so episode which I started having when I got cortisone shots regularily in my spine. For some procedures, cardiac catheterization and a cerviccal mylegram I got the responses even after a dose of atropine, both cases it took to more atropine to bring me around.

I know when they are happening and usually have to inform the doc, even during the cardiac catheterization.

Your daughter needs to see a cardiologist or an electro physiologist (an EP doctor). Please do not put this off, I was diagnosed with this conditon in 1993. After receiving many medication trials and wearing a recorder I was given a dual chamber pacemaker in 1997 (I was 29 years old and the monther of two children) and have had so much relief. God Bless and Good Luck to you and your family.
